The Pointlessness of Comparison
A need for personal comparison is an
unhelpful human trait! Comparing yourself, your possessions and a self-imposed
status against others is pointless. Each person has a distinct genetic code handed
down through their ancestors that makes them look physically different from
others – parental guidance, early learning and culture during childhood makes
people think differently – after that
personal experience shapes your beliefs and you arrive at your own type of wisdom
which makes you an irreplaceable place of this world.
Never doubt that you are a vital
force here to experience, enjoy, love, create and adventure, but know that you
have a purpose! That purpose does not necessary involve comparisons. Learning can involve comparisons; though if
you feel you have gained enough self-assurance over the years do things your
own way. Move beyond the testing competitions that weaken the journey of the
young. If you are not happy with who you are or what you have make plans for
improvement. Be magnificent in your personal pursuits – be proud of your achievements.
Comparisons
sometime lead to an unconscious imitating of others leading you away from
original thought. In the sphere of business it is great to share ideas or be up
with public demands for technologies – transferring this competitive system to
the rest of your life can have undesirable effects, especially if you pass it
on to children. It’s true that creativity can thrive in adverse circumstances; the
desire to win, defeat or get ahead of the completion can be quite potent – therefore
remembering that true power is of the purist spiritual purpose will bring you
back to the correct focus. Honour yourself!
